iC7-Automation is now more flexible than ever. New enhancements enabling easier system optimization include fieldbus exchange and OPC UA with no need for new hardware, as well as compatibility with more motor technologies.

Danfoss introduceert de Danfoss configurator in het EPLAN Electric P8-systeem, een geavanceerde oplossing voor ontwerpers die hun ontwerpworkflows optimaliseren. Ontwerpers kunnen nu iC7-Automation frequentieregelaars configureren en binnen enkele minuten snel een specifiek EPLAN-bestand (EDZ-bestand) genereren, een taak die in het verleden weken in beslag zou hebben genomen.

De Aurora Botnia is 's werelds eerste RoPax-veerboot met het Clean Design-label. De vermogensomzetters en frequentieregelaars van Danfoss optimaliseren de boegschroeven, voortstuwing en HVAC-systemen aan boord. Het schip wordt aangedreven door emissiearme hybride technologie en de energieproductie wordt ondersteund door vier grote lithiumbatterijen aan boord.
