HFC phase down

HCFC and CFC phase out
Learn about the global phase-out of HCFCs and CFCs, and the replacement with HFCs, which unfortunately also contribute to global warming. R22, a popular HCFC, is being phased out due to its minor ODS potential. Developed countries have already completed the phase-out, with others following until 2030.
