See how Danfoss Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs) optimise the efficiency of condensing boilers in radiator heating systems. The efficiency is increased because TRV's lower the return temperature, supporting the condensing boiler to run in condensing mode most of the operation time. TRV's are the simplest and most effective solution for new EU regulations mentioned in the EPBD.

The significance of hydronic balancing for optimal heating

Heating and cooling our buildings accounts for about 30% of the final energy consumption in the Euopean Union, over 70% of which comes from fossil fuels. It requires more than optimisation of the heating or cooling system to improve the efficiency. Hydronic balancing of HVAC heating and cooling systems is essential, it is necessary in order to achieve proper indoor comfort and for the system to run as efficiently as possible. If the hydronic balance is not properly in place, end-user complaints, extra costs and reduced lifetime value of the system can be expected.
